As part of its Annapurna Interactive showcase last night, the publisher revealed a slew of new indie games in development, and gave us a glimpse at gameplay for some of the projects that have already been announced. But to round things up, the gaming company has officially pulled back the curtain on the first project its in-house team is developing, and that project is Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth.
The news came in the form of a CGI trailer that didn’t really reveal much about the game. However, from its Steam What the page learns is that the title will be set between the events of the original Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049, and that it takes place after Black Out, putting you in a world without any Blade Runner Replicants left to hunt.
This will be the first official Blade Runner game in 25 years, and we’re told we can expect to share more about the game in the coming months.
Until then, check out the Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth trailer below, ahead of the game’s debut on PC and consoles sometime in the future.
