Jennie adore Chanel. It was therefore not surprising to find her on the front row of the spring-summer 2025 fashion show during Fashion Week. The member of Blackpink and solo artist, however, surprised his fans that day by presenting himself with a brand new hair color: platinum blonde. “I have no explanation to give you”, laughs Jennie. “Chanel continues to inspire me and give me energy. I always look forward to the concept and looks of the house’s shows.”

The hair transformation of Jennie wasn’t the only star of the day. The singer stood out by donning a turquoise sweater and green shorts, which she accessorized with a pearl necklace Chanel. “I was inspired by the looks of 60s icons like Edie Sedgwick and Twiggy, who were at the forefront of the trends of the time,” explains the star. “I reinterpreted their signature pop, updated their color combinations and styles to create my own look. For events like this, I like to take inspiration from the elegant and feminine aesthetic of original models and put my own spin on it, sometimes opting for a funky, cool or chic approach.”
