“To eliminate the consequences, at 17:00, the dispatch center of NPC Ukrenergo provided distribution network operators (oblenergos) with the application volume of emergency power failure programs for industrial and residential consumers in all regions of Ukraine, “Ukrenergo said in a statement.
The restrictions will be applied in order to reduce the load on the network and avoid repeated incidents after the Russians have damaged the infrastructure.
“These measures allow energy technicians to quickly restore damaged structures and keep the system in balance,” explains the company.
