VIVA – Operating system (YOU) BlackBerry running on old phones will die on Tuesday, January 4th tomorrow. This makes mobile phone users wonder about BlackBerry phones that use Android.
As quoted from the page Express, Monday, January 3, 2022, BlackBerry phones running the Android operating system will certainly not be affected.
Affected devices are those with BlackBerry 7.1 or earlier, BlackBerry 10, and PlayBook Tablet OS.
So, if anyone relies on a device with this operating system, they will experience problems when making phone calls, sending text messages, calling emergency services, and accessing data.
Devices running BlackBerry 10 will be the newest phones to be affected. This operating system was launched back in 2013. While BlackBerry 7.1 and PlayBook tablet OS debuted in 2011.
