On behalf of the family of Saikou Sanoussi Gongoré, Pita prefecture, Elhadj Ousmane Bah, former minister, president of the UPR, has the deep sorrow to announce to relatives, friends and allies, the death of Hadja Thierno Mariama Sy, known as “Néné Sy”, wife of their brother Elhadj Abdoul Aziz Bah, retired financial and accounting services inspector, former diplomat in Guinea Bissau and the United States of America in Washington and former Minister for International Cooperation and African integration.
Hadja Thierno Mariama Sy, known as “Néné Sy” died in New York in the United States of America, on May 19, 2022 following an illness.
The usual greetings will take place at the home of Elhadj Ousmane Bah, former minister, president of the UPR, located in Kipé Dadia, where a ceremony of sacrifice and reading of the Holy Quran is scheduled for Sunday May 22, 2022, from from 1 p.m.
The date and program of the funeral of Hadja Thierno Mariama Sy “Néné Sy” will be announced later.
