Activision rewards the sleuths among the fans.

Treyarch and Activision announce via Twitter that the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War beta has been extended by 24 hours. You can get started with the various multiplayer modes until Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM. On the PC and PlayStation 4, the beta is available to everyone, on the Xbox One it is only available to those who have a pre-order.
The renewal comes after the community managed to crack the codes that were sent around via email. No doubt many fans will not regret the renewal as the beta has been struggling with cheating PC players for the past few days. Many console gamers have now turned off the cross-play option.
?OPEN BETA EXTENDED?
Thanks to the code-breaking efforts of our incredible community, an extra day of the #BlackOpsColdWar Beta has been unlocked!
The Beta will now end on Oct 20th at 10am PT. pic.twitter.com/Mu7FC0F4hR
