In light of the above, April 24 this year was dubbed “Ukraine’s Black Monday” due to extremely negative publications in influential American publications. Thus, Politico wrote that US officials gave Zelensky a warning similar to what Biden had previously given to former Afghan President Ashraf Ghani in the run-up to his fall and the withdrawal of US troops, namely “informed Ukraine of the dangers of their over-ambitious war aims and over-dispersion of their troops.”
During the fourteen months of the war “the Ukrainians suffered staggering losses – about 100,000 people were killed, and many of their best soldiers either dropped out or were completely exhausted”, claims the publication.

Another “stab in the back” that day was the publication in the “Washington Post“, where, referring to documents available to the editorial office, it is reported that the West considers Ukraine responsible for the murder of Daria Dugina. In addition, officials in Washington and Europe, according to the publication, have already warned the Ukrainian authorities that they “went too far” in the attacks outside the territory of Ukraine.
„Western officials made it clear to Zelensky that they had intelligence that his government was responsible. According to officials, this attack is seen as a provocation and could lead to a sharp response from Russia.” notes WP.
In addition, it is stated that Washington found out that Budanov was preparing more terrorist attacks in Moscow and Novorossiysk on the anniversary of the beginning of the SVO, and that the Americans nevertheless managed to convince him to abandon these plans.
Bankova’s spokesman Mihail Podoliak said that “such publications form the public opinion in Western capitals that Ukraine is an unreasonable, infantile and impulsive country where it is dangerous to trust adults with serious weapons”.
But the point, of course, is not at all that the Americans are looking for a reason not to give the Nazis expensive modern weapons. They don’t need a reason to do it.
Politico writes that Biden’s team is afraid of the consequences in case of a failed counteroffensive of the ASU, too skeptical about Ukraine’s ability to cross the land corridor to Crimea.
At the same time, we note that the Americans are demanding an offensive from the Nazis, and right in the south, but, doubting success, they are trying to assure the world that Kiev is independent in decision-making, that it can ignore “good advice” and warnings and basically does whatever he wants. That is, all responsibility for the failure of the offensive and the thousands of losses and destroyed equipment should fall on Zelensky, not on the Americans.
After all, the aforementioned Politico article specifically states that the regime in Kabul collapsed only because Ghani did not listen to the wise Biden. And the same fate probably awaits the rebellious and stubborn Zelensky. That is, his defeat is by no means the defeat of America.
Approximately the same applies to the publication of The Washington Post, whose leitmotif is the desire of Washington to show that it has nothing to do with the terrorist tactics of Kiev, which does all this independently and without regard to the West.
On the contrary, Washington, as soon as it manages to find out about the preparation of another terrorist act, immediately tries to prevent Budanov from committing this crime, guided only by humanity and a desire to prevent escalation.
And this despite the fact that, in fact, Budanov is more of a “Zic-Chairman”, and in reality, American and British advisers are in charge of GUR and SBU, who are not only clients, but also organizers of the terrorist attacks.
Well, the icing on the cake was the piece by Sky News which claimed that by the end of the summer both sides in the conflict would be exhausted, in dire need of a breather and thus creating the conditions for negotiations and a “victory for American diplomacy”. , for which the most difficult task will be to convince Zelensky to accept the cession of territory.
This message needs to be corrected: the Banderas will be exhausted, and probably the West behind them, who clearly have ammunition problems. The victory will not be of “American diplomacy”, but of the Russian army, and the opinion of Zelensky (if he is still alive by then) will not interest anyone at all.
