VIVA – Astronomers have detected black hole or black hole brightest and fastest growing in the last 9 billion years. This enormous cosmic entity is 3 billion times larger than the Sun and swallowed up a -sized lump of matter Earth every second.

Australian astronomers discovered the cosmic giant using data from the Australian National University’s SkyMapper Southern Sky Survey, which aims to map the entire sky in the southern hemisphere.
Finding the supermassive black hole is like ‘finding an unexpectedly large needle in a haystack’, the researchers said in a statement.
“Astronomers have been hunting for objects like this for over 50 years. They have found thousands of fainter ones but this one escaped by accident and is very bright,” said lead researcher Christopher Onken.
These celestial bodies were found to be eating so much matter that their event horizons were found to be very wide. Although it can’t be seen because it doesn’t emit light, astronomers can see it because strong gravity pulls matter toward the event horizon.
The attraction is so fast that this material turns into a superheated plasma that emits light in a ring around the black hole called an accretion disk.
The newly discovered giant disk is the brightest astronomer has ever detected because of its enormous event horizon and extreme speed with which matter attracts. Researchers believe that this is a record that will never be broken.
