JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Acting Head of the Public Relations, Legal and Cooperation Bureau of the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) Paryono said, national insight test (TWK) committed against an officer NCP different from TWK for prospective civil servants (CPNS).
“National insight test (TWK) conducted for KPK employees is different from TWK conducted for CPNS, ”said Paryono in a written statement, Saturday (8/5/2021).
Paryono explained, CPNS is a prospective employee in a beginner or position level entry level so that TWK towards CPNS is in the form of questions about understanding the national insight.

Meanwhile, KPK employees who have changed their status to become the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) have already held senior positions. Therefore, a different type of TWK is required.
“So a different type of test is needed, which can measure their level of confidence and involvement in the process of nation and state,” he said.
In TWK KPK employees, Paryono said, the method used was assessment center which is also known as multi-method and multi-assessor.
He said this assessment was carried out using several measuring instruments, namely a written test of the moderation index of the state and integrity (IMB 68), assessment of track records (profiling), and interviews.
Then, Paryono emphasized, many parties were involved in the assessment process.
He emphasized that the observer team came from a number of agencies that also had experience and had been working with BKN in developing a measuring tool for national insight tests.
These agencies are the TNI AD Psychology Service, the National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT), BAIS, and the TNI AD Intelligence Center.
“This is all intended to maintain the objectivity of the results of the assessment and to prevent any intervention in the assessment, and in determining the results of the final assessment, it is done through assessor meeting, “He said.
Previously reported, the KPK has announced that there are 75 employees who have not passed TWK.
The TWK process for KPK employees was in the spotlight because the questions in the test were considered strange by a number of parties.
One of the oddities lies in the questions that are not in accordance with national interests.
For example, questions related to Qunut prayer or attitudes related to LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender).
A number of parties also criticized and considered the test attempt a step to get rid of the 75 employees at the KPK.
“Is this scenario really intended to get rid of these 75 people. This national insight test may be aimed at getting rid of these 75 friends, “said Former Chairman of the KPK Abraham Samad in a virtual discussion on the MNC Trijaya Polemic entitled” KPK Dramaturgy “, Saturday (8/5/2021).
KPK Anti-Corruption Campaign and Socialization Director Giri Suprapdiono also suspected that 75 people who did not pass TWK were unwanted in the anti-graft agency.
According to Giri, the TWK results are actually not too significant to be a measure of whether or not someone is appropriate to remain at the KPK.
“So I believe that the test results are actually insignificant, but it is possible that we are not wanted to continue fighting corruption in this Republic,” said Giri in the same discussion.
