The BJP has released its manifesto for the upcoming Karnataka Assembly election, promising implementation of the Uniform Civil Code, creation of 10 lakh jobs in the manufacturing sector, and a State Capital Region tag for Bengaluru. The document, named BJP Praja Pranalike, was released by the party’s national president JP Nadda in Bengaluru. Other promises include the introduction of the National Register of Citizens, monthly ration kits for households below the poverty line, and speedy deportation of illegal migrants. The BJP’s manifesto promises touch every section of society, with plans to improve ease of living for apartment residents, establish diagnostic facilities in every municipal ward, and develop Karnataka into the country’s top tourism hub.
