It has been a stressful midweek for Björn Gustafsson.

He has had to rewrite many jokes at the last second – others have been deleted completely.

– There were some things that felt like this could be epic that for logistical reasons could not be epic, he says.

The opinions around Björn Gustafssons effort during the Mellotournén has fallen apart.

The comedian has offered both stand up and show numbers. Now he reveals that several planned things have been deleted from the program due to logistical reasons.

– There were some things that unfortunately didn’t happen that had to be rewritten in just a few minutes, or in one day anyway, says Gustafsson in Aftonbladet’s live broadcast during the press meeting.

– So there were some things that were planned that were also invested in but had to be rewritten for logistical reasons and so on.

What was the stuff we didn’t get to see? Can you say something about it?

– No I do not think so. There were some things that felt like this could be epic that logistically couldn’t be epic.

“Complete applesauce in the head”

Björn Gustafsson thinks that Melloarbetet has been tough and is now looking forward to resting up.

– It’s so much more work. You have no idea how many phone calls there are, so you don’t really have time to sit and be creative. It’s a little bit what has been the hardest thing with complete applesauce in your head some days, that’s the way it is, he says.

The big middle act of the evening was that Björn Gustafsson pulled together a boy band on stage with several Swedish artists who Victor Leksell, Loa Falkman and Måns Zelmerlöw – something that was Björn Gustafsson’s own idea.

The comedian reveals that it is the world star Charlie Puth who wrote the song they performed. Puth found out about Björn Gustafsson’s idea through a mutual friend who is a songwriter.
