NRK reports that a bear was shot in Bardu tonight.
Damage clearance permits have been issued for three bears, one applies to Salangen, Lavangen and Bardu and the other two are limited to Bardu.
As of Monday afternoon, 12 animals have been taken in Bardu and 11 in Lavangen and Salangen.
After several days of hunting, one of the bears that killed sheep in Bardu was shot.

– There is reason to believe that there are up to four bears that have been active in the area, says head of the agricultural unit in Bardu municipality Ingeborg Nygaard.
