Home-strong HV71 received top competitor Björklöven.
Despite a result of only three losses at home, Björklöven started strongest.
After just over a minute, Gerry Fitzgerald took the lead for the away team in Powerplay.
A shocked HV71 could not resist Björklöven who had picked up speed. Just a few minutes later, Sebastian Selin extended to a 2-0 lead.
Pickup for HV71
The result stood all the way to the third period.
Then came the pick-up for the home team.
Christoffer Törngren set the reduction and with about 14 minutes left of the third period came the equalizer.
Fredrik Forsberg found the net in powerplay and the pick-up was a fact.
In the long run, however, Björklöven would pull the longest straw.
It took four minutes then Jesper Lindgren set the winning goal for the away team.
The win meant that Björklöven has four victories in a row.
– I was so tired so I came so late. Got a good pass was just to get it on goal, says Lindgren in C More.
He continues:
– We understood that they would come in hard in third. We said before that we would continue to play, then they got powerplay. But we still win.
