A couple of days before Brøndbo tested positive, his brother, DD.E drummer Eskil Brøndbo, had been diagnosed with covid-19 infection. Bjarne Brøndbo sensed unrest when his sense of taste and smell changed, and it came as no great surprise that his own test came back positive.
Got really sick
Thus, the whole family went into Christmas with corona disease, and according to the artist himself, they were knocked out all man.
– I was absolutely sure that I would never get it. I use to think that I will not get sick, but I did now. Really sick, says Brøndbo.
The Trøndelag man feared the disease would go beyond his voice and lung capacity, but now he is fortunately on the road to recovery.
– Even the sense of taste and smell is on the way back, so now I look forward to life. Now it’s just a matter of not eating too much, he says.

DDE turns 30 this year, and in that connection is in the process of preparing for an anniversary concert in Trondheim Spektrum at the end of March.
