From a court in Newcastle (England), the Briton Thomas Kwan (53) has now been sentenced to 31 years and 5 months for his greed for money.
Patrick O’Hara, 72, lost his arm after the near-fatal injection
Thomas Kwan is said to have been well-heeled. He had a wife and children, worked as a doctor and was just planning to buy a property for two million pounds, like him Guardian reported. When Kwan introduced himself as a nurse, even his own mother didn’t recognize him. The routine examinations also initially gave a normal impression. But then Kwan injected the syringe with the fatal dose of iodomethane (pesticide poison).
Victim loses arm
