Bizarre murder plan: Man dresses up as a nurse and injects poison instead of corona vaccination | News

Newcastle (England) – This murder plan would be too far-fetched for a crime novel! Because he was afraid for his inheritance, a man disguised himself as a nurse and gave his mother’s boyfriend what he thought was a corona injection. But instead of vaccine, there was poison in it.

From a court in Newcastle (England), the Briton Thomas Kwan (53) has now been sentenced to 31 years and 5 months for his greed for money.

Thomas Kwan is said to have been well-heeled. He had a wife and children, worked as a doctor and was just planning to buy a property for two million pounds, like him Guardian reported. Apparently that wasn’t enough: the father of the family felt it was unfair that Patrick O’Hara (72), his mother’s long-time friend, could at some point share in the inheritance.

Fake letters from the health department

In January, Kwan sent the senior citizen fake letters from the health department – supposedly O’Hara should receive a corona booster vaccination. They made an appointment. The doctor put on his disguise: surgical gloves, surgical mask and tinted glasses. He then drove to the house with a false license plate.

When Kwan introduced himself as a nurse, even his own mother didn’t recognize him. The routine examinations also initially gave a normal impression. But then Kwan injected the syringe with the fatal dose of iodomethane (pesticide poison).

Victim loses arm

The victim describes what happened next Targeted like this: “I remember the needle sticking into my arm and an excruciating pain overcoming me. I had never experienced anything so painful in my life. I immediately thought there must be something wrong here.”

The police used the recordings from a surveillance camera that were taken during the escape to track down Thomas Kwan (53).

The wrong orderly fled and O’Hara let himself in hospital deliver. He fought for his life in the intensive care unit for weeks. To stop a deadly, tissue-destroying infection, doctors had to amputate part of his left arm. The ordeal left him “like a shell of a human being,” he told the court.

Die police initiated a search for the wrong nurse and arrested Thomas Kwan shortly afterwards. Months later he now has to go to Jail. His mother and her boyfriend are no longer together – after their 20-year relationship.
