Bizarre episode ever of Zeeman Confronteert

Thijs is confronted with a way of stalking he has never experienced before. The house of Cherissa and her husband Youri, where they live with their daughter, is digitally ‘taken over’. As a result, they never feel safe at home. To make matters worse, fourteen family members are also harassed. They are close to despair.

The stalker flashes lights as if it were a disco, turns on the TV at the weirdest moments and listens in on conversations. He pushes the boundaries of the unacceptable even more when he sends sexual messages about their six-year-old daughter. But when all fingers point to one culprit, things take a crazy turn.

Who is behind these bizarre and terrifying practices? Cherissa and Youri have accused her vengeful ex-boyfriend for years and have reported it to the police. Thijs and his team are convinced of his innocence. “We have been able to determine through intensive research that it is not you,” Thijs tells him during a telephone conversation. “I had always said: it’s not me. I don’t know anything,” the ex continues, who is burdened by the accusations.

Thijs soon has an idea: “Isn’t our main suspect just Youri?” To determine this, complex digital research is needed. That investigation clearly shows that he is indeed the perpetrator who, among other things, sends sick messages about his own daughter.

Cherissa seems completely shocked when she hears the news. “Sorry, this is really not possible.” When confronted, Youri pretends to be very ill. Moreover, he refuses to admit that he is behind these misdeeds. Youri says he “can’t remember.” He blames it on psychosis. “He needs psychological help,” concludes Thijs. Youri later informs through lawyers that he does not recognize himself in the judgments. Cherissa doesn’t believe the results either and is still with him.

Sailor Confronts: Stalkers can be seen every Tuesday at 8.30 pm on RTL 5. Watch the episode here back.
