Resell a chip from a bag of paprika chips for hundreds of euros on Marktplaats. Kim van der Wolf from the Dutch village of Nuenen succeeded, although she had to be patient for it. The laughable chips advertisement has been online since October 25 and has attracted many pranksters, especially in recent days. They offered up to 10 million euros on the guinea pig chips. Nevertheless, the handy saleswoman was eventually able to make a serious deal for the ‘guinea pig’.
Chip discovered by accident
The saleswoman tells Hart van Nederland that she discovered the salty one by accident when she opened a bag of chips at a party. She thinks the salt is artistic. “It has a bit of a Dadaist vibe to it,” she says, referring to the absurd art form that was briefly popular in the last century.
After she made her find, the first thought was to put the lucrative salt on Marktplaats. “But I didn’t realize what was coming my way.”
Millions of euros
Especially after her ad was shared on the popular Instagram page Marktplaatsdebielen, things started to run wild. Dozens of joke offers of millions of euros come in, but there are also serious offers, Kim says. “Weird,” she says.
The chips will be in the mail soon. She packs the chips in cardboard and uses special packaging material. It would be a real shame if the guinea pig breaks.
