Bizarrap is one of the most successful and outstanding artists in urban music today. In a few years, the DJ and producer managed to build his fame and gain respect worldwide through his now iconic Music Sessions.

It was on February 8, 2019 that Bizarrap teamed up with rapper Bhavi to record and film Music Sessions #1, which turns five today. Currently, the theme has more than 19 million productions.

That would be the beginning of a long and prosperous path that led him to have 58 collaborations to date. The most recent is Bzrp Music Sessions #58 with Young Miko, which was the first release of 2024 and already exceeds 51 million views on YouTube.

Throughout these five years, the musician collaborated with great artists related to the urban genre but from different generations, latitudes and subgenres of hip hop.

Residente, L-Gante, Villano Antillano, Nathy Peluso, Nicki Nicole, Duki, Rauw Alejandro, Peso Pluma, Paco Amoroso, Dillom and many more passed through the Bizarrap studio. What makes these sessions a total success is that they all have the Biza seal fused with the style of each guest artist.

The Shakira and Bizarrap song has more than 151 million views.

But, without a doubt, the young producer’s two most successful sessions were those with the Spanish Quevedo and Shakira. It was thanks to these productions that Bizarrap is the recipient of three Latin Grammy Awards in addition to having broken records on Spotify and YouTube.

What Bizarrap did before the Music Sessions

Experimentation in the world of music began in the bedroom of his house, as he said in his acceptance speech at the Latin Grammys: “The recognition they give to this project that I started in my room with a computer is impressive. Thanks a lot”.

In addition, he dedicated his awards to “the kids of the Fifth Step, that’s where we came from, that’s where Bizarrap came from,” he said, honoring his origins.

Before he focused fully on Music Sessions, he also filmed the Freestyle Sessions series, in which different rappers improvised in his studio. The most recognized was the one he did with Trueno, which has more than 256 million views on YouTube.
