In the Kanto region, rain and snow will fall in parts of the coast tonight. Even if it rains, it is expected to be small in quantity. Tomorrow, the 11th, the temperature will not reach 10℃ during the day, making it a mid-winter cold. From now on, snow will fall mainly along the mountains in the north on the 13th, when a winter-like atmospheric pressure pattern will occur, with some places experiencing increased snowfall. As cold air moves south periodically, the temperature difference is likely to increase.

Kanto: Rain and snow in some places along the coast tonight

A low pressure system is expected to pass south of the Kanto region tonight. As a result of this, rain and snow are likely to fall in places along the southern Kanto coast from late tonight.
However, most of the rain clouds are centered over the ocean. Even if it rains, it will be limited to parts of Kanagawa and Chiba prefectures, and the amount is expected to be small. If you are returning late, please be careful not to get cold due to rain or snow showers.

Tomorrow, the 11th (Thursday), it will be bitterly cold, and there will be a large temperature difference beyond that.

From now on, the temperature difference in the Kanto region will increase depending on the day.
Tomorrow, the 11th (Thursday), the clouds will be difficult to clear in the morning, and the rise in temperature will likely slow down. The maximum temperature will be below 10 degrees Celsius in a wide area, making it extremely cold. Please wear warm clothes, such as wearing a scarf to prevent wind from passing through.

The cold will ease on the 12th (Friday), but even though it will be sunny on the 13th (Saturday), the wind will feel cold. The temperature will rise day by day from the 14th (Sunday), and the maximum temperature in central Tokyo will rise to around 15℃ on the 15th (Monday). However, on the 16th, the maximum daytime temperature will not reach 10℃ again, and it looks like the cold will return to a point where the body can’t bear it.

It will also become colder in the morning, and the 14th (Sunday) will be extremely cold with ice forming.
The common university entrance test will be held on the 13th (Saturday) and 14th (Sunday), so prospective students will need to take thorough measures to protect themselves from the cold. The exam venue may be surprisingly warm, so make sure to wear clothes that are easy to put on and take off and can be adjusted.

Saturday the 13th: Heavy snowfall in some places along the mountains in northern Kanto

From now on, it is expected that the southern and inland areas of the Kanto region will be largely sunny and the air will continue to be dry.
On the 13th (Saturday), when winter-like atmospheric pressure patterns occur, snow will fall mainly along the mountains in the north. It will snow more locally in the afternoon, and there will be more snowfall in some places. In the northern Kanto region, please take precautions from the 13th (Saturday) to avoid possible traffic impacts due to snow, and please allow plenty of time for your trip on the 14th (Sunday) as well.
