FC 05 Schweinfurt – TSV Havelse 0:1 (0:0). Tor: 0: 1 Tobias Foelster (90th + 4).
Even a goalless draw would have been a good result for the 05er in the fight for promotion to the 3rd division. Because TSV Havelse turned out to be an unpleasant, difficult to play opponent. A draw would also have been the fair result. Deep in stoppage time, FC goalkeeper Luis Zwick allowed himself a fatal mistake in the actually completely harmless 25-meter standard of TSV captain Tobias Foelster. Robert Kampka gave the final whistle to the cheering of the guests.
A heavy mortgage for Tobias Strobl’s team before the second leg on Saturday in Garbsen, 350 kilometers away. Above all, the last strong wing game of the Schweinfurt paralyzed this time. And because Adam Jabiri had a particularly difficult position in the center of the storm against his relentless shadow Niklas Tasky, chances were few and far between – on both sides, by the way. In muggy weather, the 1000 spectators saw a brisk first half, after the change the wear and tear was obvious.
For 90 minutes, the FC fans supported their team passionately and, despite all disappointment, celebrated with chants even after the game. Knowing full well that it is not billed until the end. A detailed report will follow.
FC 05: Zwick – Haas, Rinderknecht, Maier, Grözinger – Böhnlein, Fery (88th Ramser) – Adlung, Suljic (60th Pieper), Thomann (76th Laverty) – Jabiri.
