Two police officers were attacked and bitten on Saturday evening in Sillian (East Tyrol) by two youths aged 15 and 16. While the 15-year-old bit one of the officers in the hand, the 16-year-old punched another policeman in the face when he was arrested. The executive was seriously injured, the police informed.
The patrol was called to a rescue operation around 9:30 p.m. because of suspicion of addictive substances. When the police entered the apartment, the 15-year-old ran up to her and attacked her. The next time he was arrested, he bit one of the officers’ hands. Meanwhile, the 16-year-old turned on the following tone of the police car. Although the car key was in the pocket of one of the officials, the opening function for the car door may have been activated during the physical attack of the 15-year-old.

When the police arrested the 16-year-old boy, he punched one of the officers in the face. Both the injured police officers and the two teenagers were subsequently treated in the hospital in Lienz.

In addition, the suspicion that drugs were involved was confirmed. Drugs were seized in the apartment where the boys were. Further surveys will follow, it said.
