Research shows that 12% of Americans has invested in cryptocurrencies as bitcoin† Other research by the European Central Bank shows that 15% of Dutch households crypto holdings. That is one of the highest percentages in the EU. On average, this percentage is 10% for the European countries surveyed. Slowly but surely, the adoption seems to be accelerating! It must be said that from Dutch research, the confidence among Dutch people in Bitcoin is relatively low.
