AMSTERDAM – Crypto coins such as bitcoin and ether have lost a lot of value on Thursday, after the advance in recent weeks. Bitcoin lost almost 9% in value over a 24-hour period, fueling speculation about the sustainability of the crypto boom. Despite the decline now, it has been an excellent year for coin investors so far, with bitcoin gaining twice the value alone.
