Whether it’s the unbridled thirst for energy or thefts by hackers: There’s always harsh criticism of cryptocurrencies. After the speech by PayPal founder Peter Thiel (54) at the Bitcoin trade fair in Miami (US state of Florida), the alarm bells must be ringing.
The adviser to ex-President Donald Trump (75) gave outright hate speech, drew up lists of enemies and, above all, incited a revolution against all social and ecological sustainability standards.

Thiel became rich through his investments in Paypal and Facebook, and he also has shares in the streaming service Spotify. But he doesn’t use his wealth for good. During Trump’s presidency, he had a great influence on the head of state: The “Thielists” in Washington are considered a radical market sect with great power. Even now he is one of the major sponsors who want to bring Trump back to the White House.
As a bitcoin investor, the Frankfurt-born agitator blamed financial investors like Warren Buffett (91) in his speech for the fact that bitcoin has still not “broke the $100,000 mark”. It is currently around 39,000 euros. Thiel calls Buffett a sociopathic grandpa.

Above all, however, he takes on the ecological and social standards of business, in America called ESG for short. “They are a hate factory, comparable to the Chinese Communist Party,” complains the ultra-liberal entrepreneur, who dreams of micro-states floating on the ocean without any tax legislation for the extremely rich, who considers democracy harmful and of the rule of crypto-technology Bitcoin as a means of payment dreams.
