Citizens should refrain from excessive waste during celebrations and funeral rites. This was recalled in the press service of the Bishkek City Hall.
“In order to implement the Decree of President Sadyr Japarov “On measures to streamline family celebrations and funeral rites in the Kyrgyz Republic,” meetings are held with the townspeople,” they said. “Together with representatives of local territorial administrations (LTAs), imams also participate in educational activities, who are working to implement the decision of the head of state on the ground.”
According to the municipality, during the meetings they discuss how to prevent waste during religious ceremonies, ceremonies and other events in order to exclude a negative impact on the social and economic situation of citizens.
