Birka Gotland will make its debut cruise from Stadsgårdskajen in Stockholm to Mariehamn on Åland on March 20, the shipping company writes in a press release.
Now the first tickets for the pleasure cruiser Birka Gotland (formerly Birka Stockholm) are released. From the Easter weekend, cruises and regular trips to and from Visby with the ship also begin.
The shipping companies Viking Line and Gotlandsbolaget have jointly formed the new company Gotland Alandia Cruises, which operates the ship Birka Gotland under the leadership of CEO Susanne Kaarnimo-Knight. On the evening of March 20, the first 24-hour cruise departs from Stockholm to Mariehamn.

From Stockholm every evening
Birka Gotland will depart every evening from Stadsgårdskajen in Stockholm, towards Mariehamn and on selected departures also Visby. On Easter Eve, March 30, the first cruise goes to Visby. According to the shipping company, Birka Gotland will also visit Härnösand, Bornholm, Ystad and Riga during the year.
