Avian flu has been suspected in the deaths of up to 15 birds at two New York City zoos. According to reports, three ducks at the Queens Zoo have died from the virus, with tests pending for additional birds at the Bronx Zoo. The Wildlife Conservation Society has indicated that 12 other birds at the Bronx Zoo may have come into contact with the virus [1[1][2[2][3[3].
