Good news for Mass Effect fans! Developer BioWare has announced that a remaster of the first three games will be released next year under the name ‘Mass Effect: Legendary Edition’.
In other words: Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3 (including all accompanying DLC!) Will be upgraded to 4K for the first time and will be provided with numerous technical improvements. Among other things, the textures, character models, frame rates and shadow effects in the games were thoroughly polished, BioWare says.
The bundle is expected in spring 2021 for PS4, Xbox One and PC (and eventually PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S / X), but an exact release date has not yet been announced.
