The next Dragon Age game is well on its way, Bioware reports.

Via Bioware’s website CEO Gary McKay says the game is “midway through production.” As he explains, this is the third phase in the development process, after all the plans for the game have been nailed down.
– For the next Dragon Age, we are halfway through the production, which is a wonderful feeling. Our plan was completed last year, so now we are focused on expanding our vision of creating incredible environments, deep characters, solid gameplay, meaningful writing, emotionally charged film sequences and much more, reports McKay.
More information about the game will come later this year, but how long we will have to wait for launch is still unclear. According to Venturebeat journalist Jeff Grubb it’s still at least a year and a half away, but Bioware has not come out with any launch plans.
Furthermore, McKay could tell that chief producer Christian Dailey has left Bioware. However, he assures that Dragon Age is still in good hands, with a management team consisting of several Bioware and Dragon Age veterans.
Finally, the blog post also winds up in Mass Effect. The next game in the series is still early in the development phase, McKay writes, and the team is working on testing new ideas and experiences.
