Bioviva cards in the new Wonders of the World tablets

Chocolate to die for and a card to collect. Many kids from the 80s and 90s have fond memories of wonders of the world tablets. Thus, since their disappearance some twenty years ago, they have tried to rediscover the regressive taste of this chocolate with hazelnuts and ground almonds from the competition. In vain. Amélie Coulombe and Alexandre Kanar, founders of the Krokola company, and nostalgic of the tablets of their childhood, had the good idea to bring them back to life.

They claimed the rights and worked hard with Wonders of the World historians and fans to bring this unique snack back to life. “It’s a brand we grew up with, which speaks to us a lot, confided Amélie Coulombe, to 20 minutes, in December. It still retains 30% notoriety and a very strong affection, emotion. »

Warn of dangers threatening the species

But the Wonders of the World would not be Wonders of the World without the essential animal cards offered in the tablets. Their creation was entrusted to the Montpellier company Bioviva, queen of educational and ecological games since 1996. A first collection of 12 cards (a tiger, a lion, a zebra, an eagle, a whale, but also trees), inspired by Défis The games of nature, will be offered in the first bars, available from March in supermarkets.

The cards will offer information about the species, such as its weight or longevity. – Wonders of the world

“The photograph of the animal, in its natural environment, or of the plant will be accompanied by multiple information, such as its scientific name, the area in which it is found, its weight, its speed or its longevity for animals, etc. “, explains Jelena Kuhn, from Bioviva. And “the degree of extinction affecting the species”. Because the idea is, even more than before, to warn gourmets about the dangers that threaten animals and plants. Furthermore, the Krokola brand is committed to collectif 1% for the Planet, donating 1% of its annual turnover to environmental associations. There is a small difference, however, with the papers of the time: for environmental reasons, they will have to be cut directly on the package.
