“Biostar Releases Subdued, Budget-Friendly Motherboard for AMD Ryzen 7000 Series Processors”

The first processors AMD Ryzen 7000 debuted on the market in September 2022. They allowed the Reds to catch up with Intel’s 2021 offer. AMD fans finally got service DDR5 RAM and interface PCI Express 5.0and this translated into a noticeable jump in performance in games and programs.

Since then, more units have hit the market. First, weaker and cheaper models, and literally a moment ago variants with a cache 3D V-Cache aimed at players. So it’s no wonder that AMD’s partners release new motherboards every now and then. Now it’s time for the company Biostar and a subdued, small platform.

Biostar B650MP-E PRO is a format motherboard Micro ATXwhich is equipped with a socket AMD AM5. On the black laminate we find four banks for DDR5 memory up to 6000 MHz, one PCIe 4.0 x16 connector and three PCIe 4.0 x1. Four SATA III ports and two M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 connectors are provided for data carriers.

The Taiwanese offer a 2.5-gigabit network controller Realtek RTL8125B and an audio codec Realtek ALC897. In the second case, we are talking about a rather old, not to say archaic, solution.

I/O panel consists of one HDMI and DisplayPort, BIOS Update button, two USB 2.0, one PS/2 combo, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A, one each USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type A and C, RJ-45 , three audio connectors and antenna pins. It is worth noting that the manufacturer does not add a Wi-Fi / Bluetooth card.

The suggested price of the Biostar B650MP-E PRO remains a mystery. However, looking at the specification and knowing the manufacturer’s offer, it should be one of the cheaper constructions. So you should assume around PLN 700 – 800.
