Biostar introduced the TZ590-BTC DUO mining board for the extraction of Chia and ETH

Cryptocurrency mining requires strong hardware and different cryptocurrencies can be mined on different types of HW. Company Biostar decided to accommodate exactly two types of cryptocurrencies at once with a new motherboard TZ590-BTC Duo. For the extraction of the cryptocurrency Chia, which ideally requires a combination of SSD and HDD, it will offer 4 M.2 ports and 10 SATA 6gbps ports. Two M.2 ports are built on the PCIe 4.0 x4 bus (max. 64 Gb / s), the other two on PCIe 3.0 x4 (32 Gb / s).

In order to be able to benefit on GPU and other accelerators as well, we have not only one PCIe 4.0 x16 slot (in x8 mode), but also another 8 PCIe 3.0 x1 slots. In total, it supports up to 9 cards. Those interested can thus benefit Chia and Ethereum at large.

The chipset is the Intel Z590, Intel 10th and 11th generation processors for the LGA1200 socket are supported. There are 4 slots for DDR4-3600 memory, one module can have a maximum capacity of 32GB. Other features include the ALC887 audio, 6 USB 3.2 Gen1 ports (4 on the back), 6 USB 2.O ports (2 on the back). We also have PS / 2, HDMI, VGA, LAN (GLAN) and 3 audio jacks.
