Bioshock The Collection (Switch): an additional 31 GB download for the physical version – News

This Friday, May 29, 2K Games will launch Borderlands, XCOM and Bioshock compilations on Nintendo Switch. If physical versions are on the program, you will need to equip yourself with a microSD card since the cartridges will not contain the complete games.

2K Games had already clarified the thing last March, without however indicating the size of the additional download concerning Bioshock: The Collection. The information is now displayed on the publisher shop : the compilation will be delivered on a 16 GB cartridge including the first chapter of each game (Bioshock, Bioshock 2 and Bioshock Infinite). To access the rest of the content, a download “of at least 31 GB” will be required.

As for Borderlands Legendary Collection ((Borderlands GOTY Edition, Borderlands 2 and Borderlands The Pre-Sequel!), players will find an 8 GB cartridge containing the first installment, but still requiring an additional 6.6 GB download. For the other two titles (to be recovered via a download code included in the box), a second 35 GB download will be required. Finally, regarding XCOM 2 Collection, the first two missions of the main campaign will be integrated into the 8 GB cartridge, while the rest of the game and the extensions will require a download that will not exceed 24 GB. Each compilation will be sold for € 49.99.
