As a leading personnel consultancy in the Life Science sector, we are looking for an experienced International Product Manager (m/f/d) with a focus on procurement and distribution of raw materials for plastics, rubber as well as paints and varnishes in permanent direct placement.

Tasks

• Procurement and sales: Responsible for the procurement and distribution of raw materials such as additives, fillers, pigments, dispersions and emulsions.
• Supplier management: Active search and identification of new suppliers, especially in Asia and at international trade fairs
• Market analysis: Analysis of the sales market in Europe, with a focus on the upper middle class in the paint and varnish industry.
• Travel portion: Regular trips to suppliers and customers to ensure the best business relationships and market knowledge.
• Strategic responsibility: Establishment and further development of the area.

qualification

• Education: Relevant academic training or equivalent professional qualification, ideally with knowledge of: paints, varnishes or coatings
• Professional experience: Several years of experience in purchasing and sales within the paint and varnish industry, particularly in the area of ​​paint & coatings, acid protection.
• Purchasing strength: Proven skills in supplier management and trading, ideally with existing contacts in Asia and Europe.
• Language skills: Fluent English; another foreign language such as French is an advantage.
• Personal characteristics: High willingness to travel, self-motivation, and the ability to successfully manage projects and achieve success.
