Sperm donor Kyle Gordy (30) from California is the biological father of 47 children around the world, and was only 22 years old the first time he chose to donate sperm.
In February, he appeared on the popular TV show Dr. Phil to discuss their mission to help women get pregnant.
On your Homepage he writes that he wants to help singles and couples have children without having to go through a sperm bank.
In 2021, he even went to Denmark and Sweden to donate.
According to the news agency Jam Press, he now has ten kids on the way, but talks about the challenges he has in starting his own family.
– Women contact me only because they want a baby, not because they are interested in me, but I am waiting for the right woman.
Doctors used their own sperm for sperm donation
Dropped sperm bank
The women are artificially inseminated either by giving them a dose of Gordy’s sperm, or by having intercourse. He himself claims that the latter makes up ten percent of the donations, according to Los Angeles Magazine.
Gordy’s plan was to apply to a sperm bank, but he did not like the idea of not knowing what happened to the sperm.
– It felt so cold and clinical. In any case, women get faster results from fresh sperm than frozen sperm, he claims.
No regrets
Although Gordy does not regret having donated sperm, he has realized that dating will not be the same again.
– It will never be as easy as it was before, but I have accepted my choice to help other women have children.
