Amsterdam – A man was surprised to have to pay the highest tax rate on the inheritance of his biological father, because he was recognized as a child by his stepfather. He has now got the IRS under it. Contrary to the tax authorities and the court, the Arnhem Court of Appeal ruled that there was indeed a family connection. That saves a ton in tax.
