News agencies reported terrible news on the night of April 23 – Elena Miro died as a result of a terrible accident. For the younger generation, this surname is not very well known, but users of social networks in the late 2000s – early 2010s have at least once heard about the LiveJournal queen. 78.ru collects myths and legends that shrouded this mysterious lady.
“If Lena Miro did not exist, then it would be worth inventing her,” they write on social networks. A girl-myth, a girl-scandal, the most secret blogger in Russia, a predecessor of yellow journalism… All sorts of epithets were attributed to Miro. 78.ru looked into how she lived, how she worked, and why she became the “queen of LiveJournal.”
Lena Miro is the creative pseudonym of a girl whose name was Elena Mironenko. She was born in Stary Oskol, Belgorod region on June 24, 1981. They say that her parents were simple people, so from childhood she wanted to break into high society and live well. The girl studied diligently, played sports, and after graduating from school she applied to Voronezh State University to study at the Faculty of Foreign Languages.

The next stage in her biography was studying at Cambridge College, where she managed to enter high society, starting to organize social parties in London. After studying for five years, Lena came to Russia in the mid-2000s, starting life in Moscow, where she found work as a simultaneous interpreter.
Since Lena had an excellent command of English, she could freely write novels not only in Russian. But at that time it was quite difficult for a novice author to break through, so she came up with an interesting move – she began promoting her writing talent on the vastness of the social network Live Journal, or “Live Journal” (abbreviated LJ).
This bore fruit – the girl was noticed, after which the publishing house “Amphora” invited her to publish the books “School: Childhood is Over” and “School”: Entertaining Physics, which were based on the TV series “School”. Then the novel “Malvina and the Cattle” was published – it is called autobiographical.
— I know her, I saw her on NTV. Normal girl, everything is fine with her. Well, she seems to be very principled, all of herself. Very slim, loud. She got upset there and left the studio. But that doesn’t make her a bad person. Well Lena and Lena. I read it on LiveJournal. She sometimes mentions me there too. Scolds me. Well this is fun. “I’m not offended by this,” ex-participant of the show “Dom-2” Rustam Solntsev told NEWS.ru.
Lena started her LiveJournal page on February 24, 2010, and took the nickname miss tramell. Within a year, Miro’s publications made it to the top of LiveJournal. The girl did not hesitate to share stories about her rich life, as well as criticize everything that did not suit her – these were political events, social problems, famous personalities.

A big scandal was caused by Miro’s article about the “most vile old women” who moved around Moscow. They started talking about the newfangled blogger on social networks and even the press began writing about him.
Over time, Miro found her own style – it was an ironic and insulting tone, where the author critically criticized all events. By 2013, 12 thousand people were subscribed to her LiveJournal, and by 2014, the blog reached fourth place in the entire social network.
— Each person has his own personal relationships. A person is not a hundred dollar bill that everyone can like. I can say that there are people who have questions for her. And I once had questions for her, but today I don’t have any,” said producer Joseph Prigozhin.
It was then that a scandalous post appeared about Maxim Galkin* (included in the register of foreign agents by decision of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation), where Miro compared him to an old grandmother. In the post, she criticized his appearance, humor and figure.
– Do you, Ksyusha, need proof? Yes, here it is, the main thing is that no goat will ever contact you! Now tell me further how the slacker trainer did not cheat on you in the toilets,” the brown-haired woman wrote about Kurban Omarov’s infidelity to Ksenia Borodina.
Over time, Miro switched to yellow journalism and began writing about Tatyana Navka, Kristina Asmus, Irina Shayk, Anastasia Volochkova and Zhanna Friske. Criticism of Natalia Vodianova reached the model herself (Miro claimed that the top model herself soldered all her fans as soon as she got what she wanted).
— I love it when degenerates swear. Drunk, stoned, uneducated. When you listen to them, your eyes widen as they betray themselves. Another guy dumped Aiza Anokhin. I understand him, it’s probably impossible to live with such a woman. As soon as she opens her mouth, she immediately reeks of impenetrable stupidity, narrow-mindedness, and rudeness,” Miro wrote about Aiza Anokhina.

When other social networks appeared, Miro’s blog left the information agenda, but still remained interesting for the audience. For example, she wrote in 2018 about the Olympic Games, about Russian interference in the US elections, and the fall of the Oscar ceremony.
— Evgenia Medvedeva, having exhausted herself as a figure skater, staged pornography at a Korean ice show. Yes, it happens. What else can you do if even the help of the Figure Skating Federation turned out to be useless, and you crap yourself at the last championship where you were squeezed into? – Miro walked along Medvedeva.
In 2020, everyone was discussing insider information about replacing Lera Kudryavtseva at the MUZ-TV awards – Ksenia Sobchak and Olga Buzova were taken instead.
Later, Miro discussed the tragedy in the family of Andrei Norkin – his wife committed suicide, and Mikhail Efremov got into a terrible accident in the center of Moscow after another drinking binge.
Despite the fact that the celebrity discussed the personal lives of the stars and spoke about them in a disparaging tone, Lena herself hid her relationship.
It is known that she had a relationship with Andrei Shmarov, one of the publishers of the Expert media. Allegedly, it was he who advised her to start a blog, and then helped her appear on television several times.

In 2015, Miro met American Richard Pride, who was 9 years older than her. They began a relationship and got married in 2017. But subscribers did not see any photos or official statements from the girl herself.
They say that in 2020 she gave birth to a child and moved to the USA, where she built her personal life.
When LJ was at the top, Miro was perhaps one of the most famous bloggers in the country. Naturally, she enjoyed authority and received good dividends from it. But over time, other social networks entered our lives, and Miro was unable to adapt and become interesting everywhere.
— She chose LiveJournal when this platform was blooming, and now, of course, it’s difficult for her to just leave it. For example, I only read Miro on LiveJournal. Although if I were her, I would have been making video content long ago. I would write down the same thing. But she doesn’t want to do this. This means something is bothering her. Maybe she doesn’t like herself in the video,” Solntsev suggests.
The LiveJournal audience was rapidly falling, as was Miro’s influence on his subscribers who wanted to receive information from other people. Perhaps this is why in 2023 Lena actually left the information space. Her last post last March went like this.
— Recently, all of you, as one, wrote in the comments that if you had the opportunity to no longer work, not do what you are doing, you would immediately spit on everything. Perhaps this has its own truth of life. Everything ends sooner or later. There is nothing unusual about this. Everything changes, and everything requires change. Or at least the strength to continue. What if they don’t exist? The blog is closed. Whether it’s a break or forever, time will tell,” she wrote.

After Lena Miro left LiveJournal, everyone began to discuss her life and blog again. Many still believe that there was no Lena – and Miro is a collective author. This is hinted at by regular subscribers who read posts in different styles, hinting that this is not one person.
There is a version that Lena Miro was a whole brand; when the project grew, they took on a team of authors who wrote posts and reacted to events. In addition, subscribers claimed that Miro allegedly had a pool of forbidden topics that she did not write about.
— What are some taboo topics about stars? About their fat, alcoholism and drug addiction? Are these taboo topics? I am begging you! It’s stupid to be offended by the truth,” said the ex-participant of “House-2”.
Information about the death of Lena Miro appeared late in the evening of April 23. They started publishing it on social networks. It has not yet been officially confirmed.
— I have a close friend whose parents know well and still communicate with Lena Miro’s parents. Yes, he himself communicated with her when he was young, until he moved. In 2023, she closed her LiveJournal. In America, she got into an accident, lay in a coma for a long time, and recently died. Mother flew to the funeral. Father didn’t go. He said, quote: “Karma overtook her, it’s her own fault,” the insider wrote.

None of Miro’s friends and acquaintances confirmed or denied this news.
The star community reacted calmly to the death of Lena Miro. The famous writer and blogger Sergei Minaev, who started at the same time as Miro, reposted the news to his Telegram channel.
Lera Kudryavtseva, who, although she did not know Miro too closely, read her posts, shared her opinion.
— Lena Miro died. Her posts on LiveJournal, when someone died, began “Why did she die…” They say there was an accident and a coma, from which she did not come out, the presenter noted.
Victoria Bonya spoke out loudest of all. The blogger received “hate” from Miro more than once, so she decided to comment on her death.
— I read here that Lena Miro died. I don’t know if this character really existed… If she existed, then what she wrote about me, about my family is so disgusting to write. I want to say that I found out this news and thought that I had no gloating, no feeling that she had supposedly reached an agreement. It’s a shame that her fate turned out this way. If this happened, then I sincerely express my condolences to Lena’s family. I urge everyone in this life, while it still exists, to learn to be beautiful people,” Vika reflected on her personal blog.
