Ryan D Firman was appointed as Director of Finance, Investment and Risk Management of Jiwasraya through a letter of appointment from the Minister of SOEs Number SK-281/MBU/08/2021 dated August 25, 2021.

Prior to joining the Board of Directors of Jiwasraya, Ryan started his career at a subsidiary of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero), namely, PT Mandiri Sekuritas in 2012. At that time, he served as an Analyst in the Investment Banking Division.
In the same company, Ryan continues to develop his career in the Investment Banking Division until 2021. In fact, he has won various positions, including Associate in 2014-2016, Assistant Vice President (AVP) in 2016-2018, Associate Director (VP) in 2018-2020, and Executive Director (EVP) in 2020-2021.

Ryan was born in Australia and earned his Bachelor of Economics degree from the University of Indonesia in 2011.
Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir is indeed focused on making the millennial generation fill strategic positions in state-owned companies. The portion of millennial directors in SOEs last year reached 5 percent.
