JAKARTA – PT Bio Farma (Persero) denies the circulation of information about the prices of six types Covid-19 vaccine issued by the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes). The types of vaccines are Sinovac, Moderna, Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Novavax, and Sinopharm.
From the circulating documents, the prices for the six types of vaccines offered are in accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number HK.01.07/MENKES/12758/2020 concerning the determination of the type of vaccine for the implementation of the Covid-19 vaccination.
“This is a very old flyer, sir. I think it has been clarified by IHC. Please check with IHC, sir,” said Bio Farma Spokesperson, Bambang Heriyanto to MNC Portal Indonesia, Sunday (11/7/2021).

The BUMN Hospital Holding, Healthcare Corporation (IHC) also denied the news. Through the Hospital’s Public Relations Team, the management said the news was a hoax.
“This is old information that we have clarified if it is not true,” said the Public Relations Team, Yodi, when contacted.
From the documents obtained, the news on the price of vaccines set by the Ministry of Health varies from one type of vaccine to another. This price is the price of a one-time vaccine and the price will change from time to time.
“In order to get effective results, vaccination is carried out twice according to the distance between vaccines,” the document states.
The prices for the Covid-19 vaccine are listed in the document that includes the logo of the Ministry of SOEs, PT Pelni (Persero) hospital, and the Holding of the BUMN Hospital, Healthcare Corporation (IHC), including:
First, the Sinovac Vaccine.
The price of one dose of Sinovac vaccine is Rp. 240,000. The vaccination process is carried out for Indonesian citizens aged 18-59 years. Meanwhile, the vaccine dose reaches 0.5 ml with a distance of 14 days from the first to the second vaccination.
Second, Moderna Vaccine
The price of the Moderna vaccine is set at IDR 505,000. Vaccination is carried out for Indonesian citizens aged 18-55 years. Meanwhile, the vaccine dose reaches 0.5 ml with a second vaccination distance of 28 days.
