“Binter NightRun Santander: 800 Participants Expected for 5K, 10K, and Green Mile Races in Support of Buscando Sonrisas Association”

Some 800 people have registered to take part this Saturday in the Binter NightRun in Santander, which opens as the fifth venue of a race that began in Tenerife and Las Palmas, and has subsequently incorporated Palma de Mallorca and Zaragoza.

Thus, this Saturday the three planned modalities will be disputed: 1 kilometer (Green Mile), at 8:00 p.m.; 5 kilometers, at 8:45 p.m.; and finally the 10 kilometers, which will take place from 9:30 p.m.

At the moment, around 800 participants have signed up, although registration can be formalized up to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Palacio de los Deportes.

Athletes who want to participate in the 10 kilometer modality will have a registration fee of 17.50 euros; in the case of runners who sign up for the 5 kilometer race, the fee will be 15 euros; and the participants of the Green Mile will pay five euros. The race, which has the support of Diario Montas, will allocate 100% of the proceeds to the Buscando Sonrisas Association.

The presentation of the event, which was held this Friday at the Santander City Hall, included the participation of the sponsors of this first edition in Santander, the athletes Merche Palacios and Fabin Roncero, as well as the Councilor for Sports, Felipe Pérez, among others.

After the Santander race, the test will move to Santa Cruz de Tenerife on May 20, to then travel to Palma, on June 10, and Zaragoza, on September 30, closing the 2023 tour in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. on October 21.

Those athletes who participate in the inaugural race in Santander and want to compete in the next city, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, will have free registration and will be able to take advantage of the connections that the Binter airline company offers to this destination.

Parallel to the different modalities, the performance of Los Gordini has been planned between the 5 kilometer test and the 10 kilometer test that will take place at El Sardinero, locating its operations center on Avenida Manuel García Lago.
