Popular cryptocurrency platform Binance today announced that it has suspended the withdrawal of embedded clients bitcoins due to problems caused by a “stuck transaction” which in turn causes a backlog queue. Initially, the case was to be resolved within 30 minutes, which was later extended indefinitely. According to Binance the case should only affect the bitcoin network.
User deposits are not affected by the issues.
The message came at the most inopportune moment since cryptocurrencies headed by bitcoinem is going through an extremely painful start to the week with significant declines. Bitcoin drops below 24,000 USD.
Later at the end of the overseas morning Binance resumed withdrawals.
Binance is world number one among cryptocurrency platforms with daily turnover cryptocurrency at the level of 14 billion USD and another 50 billion USD on bound derivatives.
