Cryptocurrency exchange Binance plans to end its partnership with the Advcash payment system. This is reported by The Wall Street Journal with reference to sources familiar with the decision.
According to them, the reason is that clients transferred funds from sanctioned Russian banks through this gateway.
Advcash is registered in Belize. Binance opened the ability to make deposits and withdraw funds in Russian rubles through it in October 2019.
An Advcash representative said that they have not received any updates from the crypto exchange about their partnership.
Let us recall that in September 2023, Binance announced its departure from the Russian Federation and the sale of its local business to CommEX.
