City Tour Würzburg starts its first city tour from the Residenz on Saturday, May 22nd at 10 a.m. In the tourist train, wearing an FFP2 mask is compulsory at the stop, on the train and during the entire tour. Passengers who do not have their own mask can purchase a mask for one euro in conjunction with a ticket, according to the City Tour Würzburg press release. Handles, benches, etc. are disinfected by the employees at regular intervals.
From Saturday, the train will make its rounds every full hour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. from / to Residenz. The fare is nine euros for adults and four euros for children. The journey takes around 40 minutes.
The City Tour leads through the old town and through the history of Würzburg. From the magnificent residence, to the cathedral, along the Main and within sight of the Marienberg fortress. Everything can be admired comfortably from the train. At the same time, the passengers learn funny and interesting facts, ancient and current, glamorous and possibly also cruel, romantic and spirited things about Würzburg and its inhabitants.
