Billy McKinlay has returned to West Ham to rejoin manager David Moyes’ technical team, the Premier League club announced.
The former Scottish international midfielder, who spent seven months with Moyes during his first stint as Hammers manager, had been working as Michael O’Neill’s assistant coach in Stoke.
He joins the team of assistants of Moyes, Kevin Nolan, Paul Nevin, Stuart Pearce, and Xavi Valero, as he finalizes his staff after signing a new three-year contract, and Nick Davies also returns to the sports science setting and the fitness.

Moyes told the club’s official website: ‘I am delighted to welcome Billy and Nick.
“They bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the team, they know the football club well and they will adapt directly to the way we work.”
The Hammers have also revealed that they are close to appointing a head of recruiting as they try to take advantage of sixth place from last season.
