Billions of famous people who are now sitting in DPR chairs

Several names from the world of famous people are now members of the People’s Representative Council (DPR) for the period 2024-2029. A total of 24 of the 580 elected DPR members are eminent persons who were appointed with a certificate based on the Indonesian KPU Decree from August 2024.

Some of them include Verrel Bramasta, who qualified for Senayan after running for nomination as a member of the DPR RI from the National Mandate Party (PAN). He received 94,810 votes from the West Java VII constituency. Data from the State Administrator’s Wealth Report (LHKPN), Verrel’s total assets are IDR 51,884,841,000 or IDR 51 billion.

Next is the musician Ahmad Dhani who also came to Senayan to become a member of the DPR from the Gerindra Party group. The total assets of the frontman of the band Dewa 19 reach IDR 190,883,735,878 or about IDR 190 billion.

LHKPN data shows Dhani’s land and construction assets amounting to IDR 187,000,000,000, transport equipment and machinery IDR 2,900,000,000, cash and cash equivalents IDR 3,474,989,859, and debt IDR 2,491,253,98.

In addition, there is Surya Utama alias Uya Kuya who is also a member of the DPR RI.
