The black hair with neon green roots has almost become her trademark, after she went for the weld in the summer of 2019. Previously, she has frequently changed hair color, from blonde to completely black, and mostly in between.
The 19-year-old has also previously explained why she has kept the two-tone mane for so long.

– This is the longest I have had the same hair color since I was 13 years old, and it is due to mental stability and growth, she has previously told her followers on Instagram.

On Tuesday, however, the idol announced that a new era was in store. On Wednesday, she showed what she meant, and it is a completely different style she has gone for – platinum blonde.
“Pinch me”, she writes in the caption.
She also posted a video of her throwing the new hairstyle backwards.
Several point out in the comments field that the weld has 80’s vibes over it, not to mention that most people rejoice over the change.
The change of style has possibly also become historic in just a few minutes. Instagram account Pop Faction claims that Eilish in record time – six minutes – pulled in one million likes.
The previous record was held by artist Selena Gomez, who managed the feat in “modest” 13 minutes.
