Billie Eilish confirms her sexual orientation: “wasn’t it obvious?”

As if it were something transparent for all her followers, Billie Eilish released a few revelations in a recent interview for Variety. “I have never felt like a woman, to be honest with you. I have never felt desirable. “I have never felt feminine.”

In addition, the singer assured that she is attracted to girls. “I feel physically attracted to them. But I am also very intimidated by her beauty and her presence.”

The Grammy winner walked the red carpet at Variety’s Hitmakers event. During that short walk, Variety’s Tiana DeNicola approached her and the singer admitted that she didn’t intend to make a big “coming out” gesture.

For the singer, talking about her sexuality is more a matter of intimacy than secrecy. “I didn’t make a big gesture (to come out). But I thought, ‘Wasn’t that obvious?’ “I didn’t realize people didn’t know.”

For the 21-year-old, having her sexuality be a topic of surprise or conversation is not something that attracts her. “I don’t really believe in that. I wonder, ‘Why can’t we just exist?’ I’ve been doing this for a long time and I just didn’t talk about it. Oops.”

However, in good humor, Eilish commented: “I saw the article and thought, ‘Oh, I guess I came out today.’ Alright. It’s exciting to me, because I guess people didn’t know, but it’s cool that they know. “I’m for girls.”

At the Hitmakers event, Billie Eilish received the award for Movie Song of the Year alongside her brother Finneas for “What Was I Made For.” Theme that belongs to the soundtrack of the movie “Barbie”.

Variety’s Tiana DeNicola asked if her perspective on how other women feel about her has changed after the story was published. Eilish responded, “I’m still scared of them, but I think they’re pretty!”
