Sebastián Yatra, Chencho Corleone, Vico C, RBD, Carin León, Maria Becerra, Young Miko and Eladio Carrión were among the more than 50 Latin music stars who had a starring role in Billboard’s Latin Music Week 2023, which It took place from October 2 to 6.
The biggest names in Latin music headed to Miami Beach for exclusive conversations, performances, panels or to pose in our photoboothwith the photographer Mary Beth Koeth behind the lens, as part of the annual week-long event that has been going on for more than three decades.
From in-depth conversations with artists to business discussions on catalog, finance, streaming and publishing, Latin Music Week also included in-depth panels with industry leaders, tour promoters and two editions of The Rock Star Showthe program of reggaeton star Nicky Jam, who interviewed Ivy Queen and the leader of Fuerza Regida, Jesús Ortiz Paz.
“Latin Music Week has grown steadily over the last decade, reflecting the commitment of Billboard with Latin music and the unwavering support of Latin music to Billboard as the main arbiter of Latin music trends and success,” he said Leila Cobocontent director of Billboard for Latin and Spanish.
Considered the essential destination for the Latin music industry and the biggest and rising artists, the event attracted more than 1,200 fans and industry experts to three days of panels, performances and unique intimate conversations at the Faena Forum in Miami Beach, representing established and emerging genres that encompassed the great plurality that is global Latin music today.
