The 2022 Billboard Music Awards took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 15. This year, there were a total of 62 categories honoring the music industry. Most of the categories, 54 to be exact, were announced during a TikTok livestream hosted by Tetris Kelly and Tiffany Taylor.
The main broadcast of the 2022 BBMAs aired on NBC and aired on Peacock. During the televised broadcast, tribute was paid to the winners of eight categories.
