The store concept was developed by Smertnik Kraut Architekten and the communication design agency Section D, both from Vienna. “It was important to us to create a branch that you don’t just visit for shopping, but because of its atmosphere,” says section.d managing director Robert Jasensky. “We want to make a story tangible that tells of the splendor of Vienna at the turn of the century as well as of today’s charm of a cosmopolitan and modern Vienna.”
